The End

After almost 10 years and 100 live shows our flight comes to an end!

Because of the new regulations for bars and clubs, the recession in the night club scene and the declining interest in live music the four of us came to the conclusion that it is no longer viable to keep Firefly in the air!

Unfortunately we have concluded that in recent times it is going down hill with the live music scene in general, and we do not foresee a bright future for live music.

It is however with great pleasure that we think back to the things we have accomplished! Nationally and Internationally.

3FM, Biebob, De Wereld Draait Door, and Rocking Transylvania, we look back at those appearances with pride! Also a place in the charts with our single “Never Die…” which no one would have guessed, and all the gigs and bars were we performed over the years!

We never thought that when we started Firefly we would experience all these great things.
That is why the four of us would like to thank everyone who loyally showed up at our gigs, and supported and helped us in every other way.

Thank you very much for your support!

The last thing we would like to mention is that: culture and live music are of very great importance in every society all over the world. So, if you ever get the chance… visit your local bar, and who knows, you might be surprised by the performance of a small local band!
